Our Clara black lace bra is named after silent screen siren Clara Bow who’s off screen antics were far more scandalous than any of the roles she played on screen. She was a woman who played by her own rules!
The balconette style of this bra was popular throughout the 1950s, as an alternative to bullet bras. The balconette is cut almost straight across the bust which ensures the shoulder straps don’t show under lower cut tops.
Made from sheer black floral lace lined with sheer black denier for support. The lace is 100% polyester while the denier lining is 100% nylon. The powermesh wings are 88% polyamide and 12% spandex.
